Battery Gloves

I accidentally left my glove box open all night and my car would not start. I jumped from the car without any problem and it started and did very well. The next day my car would not start. Again, I jumped and it worked fine. And this time it worked fine for a few days, but it was a little weak starting every time. Now, my engine clicks rapidly when I turn the ignition key. Is this a battery problem could be solved with a new battery or is it a much bigger problem?
