Scrapbookers! Zutter Tool Tips? I'm considering the purchase of any Zutter bind and / or dreamkutz Zutter. I am a very crafty person and I know that these two tools will be useful. However, they are very expensive. Is it money? The tools work perfectly great? Need advice!
So, I heard of tools scrapbooking for others out there like cutting machines. To what extent do these work? Value for money or not? Prices, names and opinions please!
Thank you!
I saw the Zutter demonstrated, but no interest, I fear.
I cut a few machines and each has its own charms. I love the Cricut to be able to make the size you want. They are big, expensive, take a large amount of space on a table and power to work. The carpets are a major expense, as they wear out very quickly. I have 5 or 6 cartridges and do not use anything the way I expected. I do not cut letters for scrapbooking or card making with her because the girl in the letter most likely the machine will be a mess. I did lots of things like cupcakes and starts and big letters for posters and more. I am glad that I probably did not buy it today. Custom cultures is a good source with reasonable prices for Cricut and Hobby Lobby and Michael often have things for sale ... but excludes the 40% stuff Cricut.
I also have a Sizzix and Sidekick. I use these a lot more. I have several scripts and even some cut more easily than others, but I do use them. I also have a lot of death and they take up space. The young called Sizzlets are those I prefer because they are small enough to be useful in an album and do not take up much storage space. The greatest I do not use often, but I somehow I like. I can not get the hang of cutting several different colors and cutting to make a cut colored dice. I love the Cricut why it tells you which button to press to get the piece you want, but this is not the piece of cake, it seems to be on television. These programs are often on sale at Michael and the 40% coupon works on them. I usually visit Sizzix Tuesday when they saw their sales ages. You must buy at least $ 25 worth of products, but on Tuesday that gets you a lot.
I have a Quikcutz and never use it. It's like a clip and I have arthritis in my hands and I am not strong enough. The sets are quite expensive, at least they were when I few years ago. If you have a Sizzix you can get hold and use Quikcutz in them.
Nestabilities and I can use them in my Sizzix with just a little rigamarole. I do not remember what machine they are made to use, but you can use in most of those manual. I get people to Hobby Lobby with a coupon of 40%, they are about $ 20 to $ 30 full price, and you might get 6 or 8 circles of increasing sizes. What is cool about them is that you cut the piece to turn then emboss on it. This is really my favorite thing. I have some backgrounds and some ex-libris, snowflakes and leaves. The leaves are very chic. I like the best. If you type in Nestabilities you can find a site that will show you all the styles. If I just started to buy my first machine, I'd probably get one of this company because they are the sources that I use most. You can also stencil with then. They are small things brass Bitty. I keep them in a folder I had little Creative Memories for storing photos.
I would rather cut punches, but mostly because of arthritis.
A couple of tools I can not live without the Fiskars paper cutter (the one with the X on the plate of orange) and small cross-shaped thing Xyron Tur.
