Sweet Dreams - maternity clothes + Night Breastfeeding Well, many of you have probably found that the nights of broken sleep start well before the birth of the baby. During pregnancy, your body seems to wake up at dawn, either because you have to go to the toilet, or for no obvious reason at all! It seems to be just another way your body prepares you for the nights interrupted for months to come. Once the baby is born ... Well, you might have heard that, but there is no harm to hear you again, because if you're like me it does not really sink in at first. Living with a newborn is very tiring, and you need to rest - and plenty of it - every time the baby is at rest. Keeping a spotless house, marathons, and cooking four course banquets can wait until things settle down, and that may take some time. My baby is over a year now and I had a nap two hours after noon, when she did yesterday. I do not do every day, but it is a great way to recharge from time to time and remember when you are breastfeeding, sleep (as much as you can get!) Is just as important as eating well to keep a supply good milk. So you need to make your sleep a priority too! Here at Queen Bee we busy busy moms have found co-sleeping seems to give us the best night's rest. Just attach baby when they stir and go right back to sleep ... but basically every mum needs to decide exactly what works best for her and her baby. Do not listen to anything anyone says how often your baby should be feeding or how much they need to wake up at night. Remember, every mother and baby pair is unique!
