Chemo Cap Sewing pattern? Hello
My mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and will lose his hair in a week. We went shopping for wigs / hats and found one she liked, but it was $ 20, so I offered to make him more rather than buying a bouquet for that price. The problem is that I can not find a sewing pattern unique to this striped cap. It has a little elastic in the back and ties. I looked everywhere online and found only 2, but neither look like I have described. Does anyone have a model??? Thank you!
Not offhand, but if you can get a picture, I can certainly tell you how to configure.
Here's an old list I made for a group - some URLs may be dead, but you can probably find them by searching or by using the Quick Wayback Machine: http://www.sewgirls.com/quilting/Chemo - C ...
Many people seem to find PowerDry wick polyester or other fabric for this fun ... the inside is soft and lightly brushed, and the outside is slightly textured. It wicks sweat from the skin and allows for quick drying. Wash and dry very well.
Here is what it looks like up close:

And here is a reliable source to purchase, although the fabric stores are likely to start making wick Polyester

Hugs to you, and your mom!
