Spring is in the air and summer months are just around the corner. Another year of school is under the belt of the child and within a few weeks they will be freer to enjoy the sun and nights of endless summer.

summer not only brings changes to the timetable of our children, it also greatly affects our routine as moms. Many of us can find a large liberty in our typical workday including our children in our tasks. This allows us to have more time to spend together to take advantage of fun activities that bring the playful side of us.

Try these daily tasks of fun and rewarding for your children. A great way to reward them is by informing them that they receive to go to a certain destination once all work is completed. Our goal is to work as quickly and efficiently as possible and it is amazing how our expectations are met when the children know it is fun waiting on the other side of the door!

Now, if you're like me, you're probably on a budget. A wonderful aspect of life in the country is that we do not spend a truckload of money to have fun. The following is a list of activities everyone can enjoy on any budget. The important thing is to spend time with our children. This is not necessarily the money that makes them feel loved.

Kite - Children are magical kites and there's nothing like the satisfaction that comes with finally get this kite in the air and smooth sailing!

Take a pair of roller skates - have not skated in a while? Take the oldies but goodies and dust! Your children will love the laughter that come alive when you start to rock-n-roll! If you do not have skates, they are relatively inexpensive to sporting goods in any store.

Planting Herb Garden-purchase seeds, soil and small pots at your local nursery. Watering and anticipate will continue for several days. It's so fun to watch children's eyes light up when they finally see their first shoots and even better when they are to taste their first meal with their home grown fresh herbs.

Make a bouquet of flowers - If you do not have your own garden of flowers, be sure to obtain permission from the owner of the garden. Any person living in a rural area has many wild flowers to choose and create a beautiful bouquet with the signature of your children creativity.

Make an exchange pedicure - There's nothing like having a foot rub. Take the lotions and potions and make those little hands at work. They like to have your feet like royalty and you'll be surprised how much conversation you have along the way!

Spa Treatment - boys and girls receive a mud mask and exfoliation of the skin. They love the texture of products and especially enjoy having mud on their face. Honestly, put your clothes and create a memory that will last a lifetime.
Make a sand castle - If you live near the coast, take a trip to the beach and let your imagination. Make sure you bring your sunscreen.

Take a Hike - The fresh air is a good body. Find a Trail and enjoy a bit of nature. Pack a lunch for a picnic. Do not forget the mosquito repellent and sunscreen!

There are many more adventures for you to enjoy without spending much money. For those of use with multiple children, we will take all the freebies we can get. With all these great ideas in mind, go and enjoy your summer. You're children will thank you!
