Types of hearing aids

There are many types of hearing aids (also known as hearing aids), which vary in size, power and circuitry. Among the different sizes and models are as follows:

body worn aids

This was the first type of hearing aid invented by Harvey Fletcher while working at Bell Laboratories. Thank you to the evolution of technology, they are rarely used today. Behind the ear aids (BTE)

This is useful for listeners with normal hearing in low frequencies. BTE miniatures are generally used for mild to moderate loss of high frequency.

In the ear aids (ITE)

They can be used in mild to severe hearing loss.
