Dinosaur BackpackBolivia - Travel Destination Tips go

Where to go in Bolivia

When the Sugar cheesy "like a dinosaur mobile traveling dinosaur footprints exceed your expectations. The cost of a visit is cheap and the prints are important - it's just a shame and totally unbelievable that this treasure is still part of a working career. Drawings scale a steep rock that shakes with explosions of dynamite from the base, even while you watch - we hope that UNESCO win their battle and the footprints are preserved for future generations.

Do not miss the wonder of the world which is the salt flats of Uyuni. There are 2 choices of travel - a trip of 1 day on the marshes and back and a 3 day trip through the salt marshes and San Pedro de Atacama - Chile. If Chile is on the road trip so it's proably the best trip to take as you will see all the attractions of saline lagoons with red and green and pink flamingos. The 1 day trip, however, cover the Salt Flats of Uyuni item and you can get a night train to the border with Argentina. These trains do not leave every day to check if the dollars before your arrival to avoid a prolonged stay in Uyuni. Once in each store Uyuni is a travel agent and try to choose who to go to blows your mind - all offer roughly the same maker must be the quality of their English and their status vehicles. All operators have books with comments from past travelers have therefore read these before you decide. We did tours with Oasis (www.oasistours-bo.com)

La Paz is the unofficial capital of Bolivia and the largest city at high altitude in the world. It is a fascinating city full of markets .. including the notorious witches market where Bolivians buy llama fetus hanging in the doors of all businesses - they are supposed to bring good luck if placed in the foundations of a building. For those who have read "Marching Powder" - yes, prison is still there, but unfortunately, when we were there curious backpackers are allowed to access (although in the negotiations of money in Bolivia, so if you Feeling brave could be worth a try!).
