Dog Cooling Bandana

Posted on December 27, 2009.
Dog Cooling BandanaHave you ever used a dog cooling bandana?

Im wondering if they actually work so it is just another extra weight for the dog. Does anyone have experience with it?

I have not used, but I do get a great product called Kool Kollar. It's the same idea, but a necklace that you can put ice packs and ice cubes in. My dogs love it. In fact, I focused on a track (my girls among the roses of course) Go see

My dogs have always been the animals inside. But when we evacuated for a hurricane we were in traffic for seventeen hours of driving at five to twelve miles an hour. I was afraid of running out of gas as many people do not on the side of the road. I put cooling bandanas in our emergency kit and was very grateful, because some points I would like to have one for me.

You know what, I have one of them and have not used one time. I think it depends on the dog's weight and so on ... the bandana is really isn't too heavy and when I used it on Jake (Labrador £ 80) last summer, he seemed to enjoy it. I forgot I had! hahaha. He sits in the back of the freezer!

No, but I use the same technology to make the beds cooling dogs in hot weather. It is easy to sew a little and have them handy.

Dogs actually cool off by panting. The bandanas look cool, but are not really cool for your dog!

I use a cold towel and it falls on the dog. It's cool.
