Glitter Belt

Posted on January 15, 2010.
Glitter Beltleather belts (PLEASE READ)!?

See, I really do not want to buy a leather belt, but I really need a belt. My mother is totally convinced that I am bigger than I am and then made me buy jeans that were a size too big in my racing spring and now they all fall to my thighs every time I walk - even the slim.
But the vegan line are a little too far outside my price alley (leather belts that I found: 4-10 dollars. Vegan Belts: 15-30something males and above). I only have $ 20 left, and yet other things to buy.

Plus, my mother refused to let me use his debit card to purchase online since his last experience with eBay is a crook who stole the card info (twice). I'm old enough to get my own debit card (16), but I'd have to get a first national identity card and I currently do not have time or extra money for it (submerged working school and catching up with my cyber school).

I need a belt, like, now ... I've never bought belts generally due to the problem of leather (and all the belts of canvas that I found are pretty ugly - I'm a rainbow / metal studs and art cute) and would buy pants that fit well around my hips so they do not fall ... So I have a lap belt provided John with a pair of jeans ... but the loop is too big and ugly, my belly and waist is pleated and often all it feels like I just tied a rope tied around my waist.
So what do I do? The stores in my area are not anxious to sell plastic belts for adults and all the belts that looked like leather were made of leather (there were some who were vinyl, but they were woven with gold and ... I do not wear gold or nothing wrong with shiny / glitter - In addition, they were like a belt $ 20!).

And even if I wanted a cloth belt, I can not find in a store! (Quite strange that I can find tons of them online and I guess I could find in time Shoppes, but the closest is about a half hour and an hour's train ... I am on this last mode of transport)

So what do I do?
I realize that I can not really afford to be picky, be vegetarian ... It is the style or morals ... But damn! Can we have both? "
I mean, if it was a second-hand shop, I would just suck it and buy a leather belt because it would otherwise be released or something ... But buy in a store that would help the leather industry!
Should I bite the bullet and buy a leather belt from K-Mart or something, because the possibility of me purchasing online is completely out of question?

Wal-Mart and other mass retailers carry many leather-look belts that are cheap. imitation leather is always cheaper, from what I have seen, genuine leather. I do not buy canvas belts, because I think they look terrible ... but I bought several other faux leather (and handbags, shoes, etc.) in stores like Wal-Mart, Target, Payless, etc. etc. etc.

You look around, but usually at mass retailers, leather products are labeled as such, and are generally the most expensive options in a rack.

If your finances allow you to give a leather belt, a belt but not vegan, then buy a leather belt.

I must say that I refuse to read this whole affair. If you need a belt to go into a store and buy one.

Make your own with a cloth belt or a scarf.

I do not know if that's your style or not, but do you have long, thin scarves? You can use something like this until you have saved money for a non-leather belt.

Buy a canvas belt with D rings Suck It Up and take the train company. It's not like you need to go buy a belt of each week. You do it once and you're good for years. You can dye the carpet, if you do not like the color. It is easy enough to dye fabric as a canvas. Otherwise, you can buy wool, whatever color you like, hook a long thin strip.
