Harry Potter NecktieGreen and environmentally friendly products for Best

I found lots of greenery and large-eco-friendly products since I started writing my blog, MissMalaprop.com in August 2006. My lucky enough to personally test many of them, and now there are green products that I absolutely swear by. Here is an overview of some of my favorite green products and environmentally friendly.

Daily Green

Change can come in both ways, large and small - one of my early posts was about taking baby steps to change the world. One of my favorite blogs green choices Tiny, also believes that small steps can add up to a big difference, as do the people behind Ideal Bite is a free resource for learning how very easy to go green. Their daily newsletter packed with information and advice - I learned about many environmental issues and solutions for their e-mails!
Choose to reuse! Envirosax reusable shopping bags are my favorite for groceries and everyday use. I keep at least a couple of these folded in my handbag at all times, and they bend really small, so it's easy! I'm also a big fan of stainless-steel water bottles Earthlust. I keep mine with me at work and I am drinking more water today! Even the choice of reusable over disposable chopsticks can add up to make a big difference. The reduction is another important part of helping the environment. I wrote about many ways to reduce and get rid of spam.

Carbon emissions are a big problem when it comes to the environment. One easy thing you can do is make sure to stop idling your vehicle - whether warming in winter (most modern cars do not need to do more anyway ) or keeping the A / C on when parked in the summer is bad for emissions and you're wasting gas and money! I'm also a big proponent of buying locally whenever possible, to reduce food miles and supporting the local economy.

Health & Beauty

Since I read the book Living green, I became more aware of all the hazardous chemicals commonly found in things we use every day, and I am sure to read labels more closely. (See the Green Guide for a list of chemicals up to avoid.) There are some products I've tried to see if they would be better than other ones, and now I swear by them.

Wash the face soap Society Hall Manor is my absolute favorite. Not only is it made from natural and organic ingredients, it is also done by hand! I was skeptical when I first tried Crystal deodorant, but now that I did it through a summer using this stuff instead of antiperspirant chemicals associated with cancer, I am definitely a fan!

Anti-Body is a fair trade company that makes amazing large body care products, including lip balm mint surprise that I use every night. If you are an open mind Lady, see my post on eco-friendly alternative menstrual and labor - there are many scary chemicals in these traditional blocks and pads, not to mention the garbage they produce!
