High Index Lenses

Posted on January 28, 2010.
High Index LensesWhat purpose would be best for me?

I get a new pair of glasses and try to understand what I should put the lenses in them. My RX was -2.75 in both eyes, without further correction and PD 55. Managers, I am buying are here: http://www.framesdirect.com/framesfp...-mjsfoj/r.html with width 49. Should I get a high index of 1.67 or polycarbonate are sufficient? Other? What AR coating, Pentax? Crizal? Other? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I intend to wear on and off with my contacts.

You certainly do not need the prescription of 1.67.

Polycarbonate would be fine with the AR coating Pentax.

Funny, I never checked the prices on this site ... they are quite expensive!

They cost $ 10.00 more for the lenses that I am at my desk ... and the frame is only $ 15.00 less than my price is too .... he leaves $ 5.00 less than my office ... and no service that included these adjustments.

I price of a pair of frames I guess that also perform.

EDIT ****

No, in my opinion, 25, 00 additional Crizal is not worth it.

Crizal is very over rated. Crizal spots worse than any other premium AR that I saw.
