Laptop BriefcaseI need tips for dealing with commuting?

I started my first job in marketing after college and now have about one hour and fifteen minutes travel time in both directions each day. And need some advice for commuters season. It is actually a two part question

1) I wear a heavy backpack as a case brief and seem to always need something thats over lunch at home. What is essential you keep them all in your briefcase / bag. I mean I have my laptop and beyond whats essential that you keep with you when you can not run home after work, can leave work and head straight to the result of other obligations.

2) Also I found the shuttle kills my energy. Some tips to stay awake and alert on the road and at work

Listening to music that you really like while driving and turning up with well, try to make CD mixed to maintain interest. Also get a handsfree cellphone and catching up on calls you need to do this will keep you energized, entertained and to do something. Take also treats and beverages to nibble. :)

try sunglasses if its bright and keep your car cold if you do not want to sleep. If his role in Nice by the window and get a breeze. Maybe you could pack a pair of fiber bars or healthy snacks you can keep your energy up, plus if you meet a good breakfast and healthy snacks and eat a few hours (more like nibbling, never really eat a full meal) you will keep your tummy full of healthy food for you, but never complete, which may make you drowsy. I also met, as a commuter, if I'm thinking about something I turn off the radio and I'll keep my self awake and thinking. I do not know about you religion, but sometimes I just pray when I'm on the road too. I know this may seem a little strange, but really keeps me awake and alert.
