Laptop New York

Hi,

I'm going to New York to meet a friend and his Windows laptop is marred by spyware and virii. He said he used the laptop to an airport terminal, the Bluetooth was, someone sent him a file, and it was accepted in error. He can not do much with his laptop today, it is unable even to use the Internet.

I will try to repair it for him to take some basic software on a flash drive with me - Spybot, Process Explorer, adaware. When I used Windows HijackThis I found the most powerful and effective, I would just paste the log in hijackthis.de and kill what he said.

I can not do that because his internet access is compromised. How can I go to analyze the log file without the Internet? Does anyone happen to software offline?

System Restore

First be careful when using a flash drive so as not to infect your PC. A CD + R is the best because it is read-only, which leads me to the following suggestion on hijachThis. You can copy the log R + CD and run it on yours to hijackthis.de
Another suggestion is to use the Malwarebytes' tutorial as another tool to help remove threats on friends PC
