What digital SLR camera is the best? I want to get into the photography thing and I'm looking to buy a digital SLR camera.
I found 2 that suit me best. But I'm not sure that one is better.
I'll give you the links below.
The 2 cameras are:
Nikon D3000
Canon EOS1000D
Thank you hope you can tell me what is the best!

They are both good. Go to a store that has both and play with them to see which you prefer.
Both are good camera,
Nikon D3000 come with more than 11 points while the autofocus Canon 1000D is supplied with 3 AF points and personally I recommend it

However Nikon D3000 does not live view function, if you want, then Canon 1000D is your right choice

for this price range, choose Pentax Kx.
- Performance on the best circuits ISO, beat Pentax K-7!
- Better color dynamic range for the entry level.
- In the body (sensor) stabillizer (D5000/3000 does not work)
- In the body of the motor autofocus (D5000/3000 does not work)
- Better viewfinder
- Live-view
- HD Video
- The least expensive of the battery, use Eneloop AA battery for more than 1000 shots percharge
- Etc. .. and lentil pancakes too.
some people say it has the same sensor with D90 (Sony CMOS sensor).
without stabillizer body and internal autofocus motor will cost you a goal dear! Do not buy D5000, D3000, D40x if you want you expand your collection of lenses.
For compatibility with almost all Nikon lenses (cheap, or inheritance), you can buy D90 (or old model used).
Both are good devices that I recommend, but suggest you and play with them before making your decision. If this is your first reflex when the two im impresses in his way.
Buy used and find a bargain.
A camera is a fairly large expenditure that does not end at the point of buying a body and your first objective. You must know where you'll be in 3 months, 6 months time, 12 months, etc.
Nikon SLR system is generally good with lights. However, the D3000 is not CLS / AWL commander, and has no rear wheel. But the Nikon Speedlight is probably the best on the market right now. If you can afford it go to the D90 has much better handling and CLS / AWL. So if you work in a studio or event surrounding the base of the Nikon system is apporopriate.
Canon thing is speed, and the selection of pro lenses. Again, not something you need to worry now, but when the time comes and you find yourself needing a semi-professional or professional Canon lens offers the best choice, and at a reasonable price. For wildlife, the press and sports photographer Canon L series is really an interesting choice.
With these two media / systems, you can always use a lens if you can not afford to buy a pro lens, but find that you need. So thats the thing everyone are in their own thing.
