Organza Wrap

Organza WrapCan I extend a dress I bought online?

I recently bought my dress for my wedding online. I thought I had all my measurements correct, but I must have been extinguished. (I'm new to this issue.) Anyway, I can not just zip the whole way. I wonder if I could expand, or add lace or something. I do not have time to find another. It has been announced as a film 'dress, if it is not. Its satin skirt with organza. Would it be possible for me to also remove the zip, add a little fabric and reattach the zip?

A seamstress would have to consider. I had to add the length of my dress (I'm six feet tall) and it was a real pain to find a tissue match to make it look like it was there originally. I'm sure they can do something for her if they have worked wonders on mine:)

I want to put a dressmaker and ask them. It is difficult to tell you what to do, without seeing the dress. A seamstress will have a better idea of how to fix it and if it is still serviceable.

The best way to resolve this is to have a corset back put in. Adding fabric is difficult and often look terrible.

You can make a dress smaller, but you can not make it bigger.
