Slimline Laptops

Laptop I put a DVD in the same normal and now he refuses to play any DVD, IVE never use my laptop for both DVD and autoplay does not even proposed, the disc may not even be found when I go to my computer

PS2 Slim-set whenever I get a DVD in and it doesn't want to even be recognized, I restart the PS2 and it does not reboot if I open the lid, then yes, I put the lid down and still nothing happens until I put the cover back on and the disk does not always get recognized.

Why is this happening? Technology hate me now?
