What transmission / model is in a Cushman Truckster 3-Wheeler? What transmission / model is a 2001 Cushman Truckster?
I work in a shop that specializes in golf carts, and recently we bought 3 trucksters Cushman, which I started to work. A transmission problems, and ... Anyway ... The dealer wants $ 1,000 for a set and a planetary clutch ....
Does anyone have details about this product RWD Aisin-Warner is in this vehicle??? It is very similar to a Toyota A41, used in ancient and Cressida RWD corollas, but the tray has 15 bolts instead of the usual 14 bolt pattern used in the Toyota A40, A41, A42, etc. ... It is obviously made by the same company that built the transmission range of a Toyota, Aisin-Warner, but it seems that it was probably a "special order" unit built specifically for use in for Ransomes Cushman. From now on, the broker Cushman is the only place where we found pieces of internal transmission, and we are looking for any parts used, or an alternative source to avoid paying extremely high prices stealership!
The worst part of all this research is our lack of a number of transmission model. The Cushman Truckster itself is a model number 898487, pack of 3-wheeled police, used in cities for the rights meters. This "unknown" transmission is bolted to a fuel injection engine 657cc 3-cylinder Suzuki.
