Stainless Steel Buckles

Posted on January 25, 2010.
Stainless Steel BucklesI'm gauging my ears, but I'm allergic to metal?

I have chosen plastic metal but now that I ordered. I heard that the plastic gauges Make your ears infected. Should I not go to plastic? or is there a way I could go to plastic and to avoid the normal problems of gauges in plastic?
Normally when metal touches my skin for a long period of time (as I'm around my belt loop on the other side of my hip after 3 days) I get itchy hives. but has not yet taken place and its been about a day and a half. My 316L surgical stainless steel and those in far its just react as they have recently been drilled.
I have a 14 in one ear and 12 in the other because I have 4 different sizes small hole and my left was stubborn.

advice?
Sorry issues and information is everywhere.

Use of plastics do not cause infection. Infection occurs when the jewelry of your aid has not been sterelised or if you do not clean the piercing. By the sounds of it you have an allergy to nickel. So stay away from steel. Quality surgical or not, they are made of a nickel quater. Try using titanium metal if you want. The glass can be expensive but that's OK. And plastic should be fine.

well. Ive heard that plastics can infect both. but I see my ears with acrylic tapers. Therefore, avoid the metal. and my ears have never been infected. Make sure you clean them regularly. be around him for the day IFTR then the second day take the gauge and clean the jewelry yourself and listening. not much. and as I said, Ive never had an infection in acrylic.

you can try titanium, niobium, or glass.

Plastic is necessarily a bad thing though. i like titanium the best.

I strained my ears with pliers acrylic. They have been painful for one day, but not be infected. They are perfectly fine now, and I'm planning on stretching soon.

plastic does not make all those infected. but gauges tend to feel and it's not so you should clean them once a day ... atleast

Measure your ears is gross.

i measured my ears with plastic ones and there was no problem.
be cautious and not pop your ears.
