Is a "stainless steel" portfolio really block RFID? I want to know before I drop almost $ 100 on a portfolio of stainless steel if it really does act as a Faraday cage in your pocket and block RFID transmissions. In this new era of identity theft I want to protect my credit cards with chips in people who are no good. Here are two I am considering.

I love this question! Someone who really pay attention to what is being around them-Kudos!
http://www.IdentityStronghold.com much cheaper
This site offers a complete range of products for many items we carry with us every day.
Also read SpyChips http://www.spychips.com (available in paperback now). A good book that tells the dangers of RFID. Some of writing appears, at first glance, a little paranoid. But a survey a little more RFID you, you will find that this "technology" can and is very invasive to your privacy.
Great question. I encourage you to search for other RFID.
