Stretch Headbands

When my father returned from a trip to London, he brought a kind of headband, scarf-type accessory that I loved, and unfortunately lost. There was a ring of stretched fabric, and it had to put on your head and double again to make it fit, like a band but bigger and more flexible. Sound familiar to anyone? I remember what it was called. Thank you in advance! :)
