Swiss Gear Laptop Backpack

I have a MacBook Pro 13-inch and need to know that I should buy a laptop backpack (a Swiss Gear ABT that cost $ 90) or buy a case (Incase of a specially designed for this laptop which costs around $ 60) and put it in my bag of regular school. [I can afford at a time when the cost is not an issue]

I'ma student, and I used to wear a couple records / books, pens / pencils, keys, cell phone, iPod, etc with me on an average day. My bag of regular school is not great but not as the MacBook comfortably.

I am a student from suburban New York, so I'm worried about the chances of damaging the underground.

I really do not think a laptop backpack is necessary, ordinary backpack will do. I wore my MacBook in a pocket notebook to college with my other hand and he did well. The MacBook itself is quite sturdy. Ultimately it's just a matter of preference.

I would get the strongest backpack that I could find. One with good padding and a lock for the zipper!
