Advantage camera dive waterproof Used Topside Only by chance I discovered this optimal solution to solve the problem of always having to worry about keeping my digital camera protected both elements, and too much knocking around.
I missed a replacement for my dive camera and in the process of seeking alternative solutions came across this new generation of underwater cameras that work equally well out of the water. Even better is that they are still quite compact and lightweight to make sense as a replacement for my use of land only a digital camera.
So what's the point? Just as I've gotten fed up with digital cameras that can not take a little sand or water. When we usually take the most pictures? What would you say then trips to new places or during holidays or vacations. Where do we often do these things? Beaches, snowy mountains, rivers, hiking trails - the list is long.
The majority of our photos are taken in environments where there is a chance of better than average that our product becomes wet, muddy, or bumped around. Instead of worrying about a splash or little rain, and dropping it in everything from sand to snow, would not it be convenient if these technological marvels were just a little more rustic?
Well a handful of camera makers seem to have diving the message, because they have produced some robust multi-use digital cameras waterproof. Better yet, unlike their predecessors, they may have a much more reasonable price.
In the predecessors, I mean those super-expensive, special-purpose underwater camera housings with special divers and underwater photographers used. They are bulky and awkward and out of the water so we could remove the camera housing itself, that kind of defeats the purpose, as we're back to the original problem of having to pay attention to the protection of the camera.
But these cameras are diving generation integrated units where the camera is in a waterproof case made of impact-resistant composite materials and rubber armored vehicles at all key locations. dropping several feet to leave them undisturbed.
They are lightweight (about one pound) and compact (less than 4 inches x 5 inches), and despite their small size, offers a superb image quality with ultra-sharp high-resolution images even in low light conditions, such as usually found underwater. Prices are comparable to land-use high-end digital camera.
In particular use, are the parameters that can be modified depending on whether you're shooting above or under water. In "sub-mode to improve various parameters of colors under water by automatically adjusting shutter speed and aperture. For "land" use they function as other land-based radar that allows the user to adapt to conditions encountered above the water. Other features include face detection and image stabilization.
The bottom line is to eliminate the need for more than one camera. The same one that is perfect for scuba diving, is now redundant for hiking, climbing, sea kayaking, go to the beach, being on the boat, and almost any other activity could thinking.
Even if you're not a diver there are models made for diving, and even if sealed until about 10 feet or more, are less expensive. This is especially good news if your main concern is to find a more robust digital camera that will not go after being splashed in the lake or left in the rain.
